Hello!

We are Billy & Rachel Hyer, owners and sole photographers here at Hyer Photography. We met in photography school back in 2007 & have been working as a team since. After we married in 2009, we moved south, started our family & operated our own photography business full time, Hyer Images. Nearly 10 years of successfully photographing hundreds of weddings, families, babies & seniors, we craved a change of our own so we moved back to Wisconsin and since, rebranded and proudly established Hyer Photography to serve clientele in this beautiful state.

Experienced Professionals

Unlike many photographers, we studied and graduated in 2008 from one of the top photography schools in the country, Hallmark Institute of Photography. Not only did we train under a professional photography center and industry pro's, but now have obtained over a dozen years of experience photographing thousands of unique people in vast varieties of locations, countless lighting challenges & have the backbone business model to not only provide beautiful documentary type images but also a client experience that keep people coming back year after year as their families grow.

Our Photography Approach

Our ultimate goal when photographing is to capture genuine emotion, by creating an enjoyable & free atmosphere, straying away from overly forced posing. Of course we will give you direction so you look & feel comfortable in your photos, while at the same time encouraging having fun, playing & focusing on the ones you love that surround you. We do all this while also utilizing our skills to bring in the perfect blend of a beautiful setting, natural lighting producing photos that you will proudly want to feature as art in your home. Behind the Camera

Whether you are a bride & groom excited but overwhelmed with decisions; or your parents either with your first baby on the way or one heading off to college; or maybe your a busy family hauling loud toddlers in tow, we happily serve all aspects of life in need of thoughtful and beautiful documentation. We are a husband & wife who once had to make those wedding decisions, we are now parents to two wild boys, only seeing how the days are long but the years are short, so we get it!
